Kaye Serrano

Kaye Serrano (as in the letter K) is a Filipino performer born and raised in the Philippines. She has delved into a lot of aspects of the performing arts such as singing, dancing, and most recently, acting. She first discovered the world of musical theater at The Music School of Ryan Cayabyab where they performed the first act of Wicked (2010). Since then, she continued to hone her skills in school. 

 

She was a member of St. Paul College Pasig’s Teatro Paulino where she was part of the ensemble in their original plays: It’s Not You, It’s Me (2012) and Awit ng Puso (Song of the Heart) (2011). While participating in their theater company, she was also a member of the dance varsity group Terpsichore, and won 1st runner-up at the Skechers Dance Competition in 2012. In Ateneo de Manila University, she was part of ACOMMpany—the dance group of her course’s organization—for four years. In 2016, she won 1st runner up in the Rhythm in Blue dance competition and became the team’s choreographer for various performances. 

 

While completing her undergraduate degree in Ateneo, she found her love for styling and makeup. She then began freelancing and continued gaining projects until today. Aside from those, she works as a copywriter in an advertising agency. However, she hopes to transition her career to the performing arts industry, where her true passions lie. Kaye has been and always will be a multi-hyphenate performer, ready to let the world witness her magic.
